StreetARToronto (StART)

StreetARToronto (StART) is a City of Toronto public art program dedicated to transforming Toronto's streets, laneways, and parks into a city-wide art gallery through murals, street art, and graffiti. StART commissions and supports artists across a range of programs — from utility cabinet paintings to large-scale building murals — celebrating the city's diversity and fostering community belonging. The program works in partnership with local businesses, improvement areas, and community organizations to create meaningful public art experiences across all of Toronto's wards. StART also mentors emerging artists and provides opportunities for youth and underrepresented communities through its various initiatives.
