Chatham's community art gallery, home to a permanent collection of over 700 artworks, with admission by donation.
Thames Art Gallery (TAG) is a community gathering place in the heart of Chatham, offering inspiring exhibitions, hands-on workshops, educational programs, and community-driven initiatives for visitors of all ages. Its Permanent Collection of more than 700 artworks preserves works from the late 1800s to today, celebrating local history and contemporary Canadian art practices. The Gallery began in 1963 when citizens bought the old Chatham Vocational School to establish an arts centre, and it is now housed in the Chatham Cultural Centre. Admission is by donation.
