A Jacksonville gallery amplifying marginalized voices through large-scale, community-driven art installations.
The Corner Gallery is the headquarters for Moving the Margins, an artist-in-residence program dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices through large-scale collaborative art installations. Located within The Jessie in Jacksonville, the gallery provides underrepresented artists with gallery space, equitable material stipends, and three months to create and collaborate. Each exhibition culminates in a responsive installation born from cohort conversations and lived experiences, exploring themes of spirituality, race, ethnicity, gender, and social and environmental justice. The program is a cultural initiative of 904WARD and is supported by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund.
