Annual international juried exhibit honoring socially and politically engaged art.
The FL3TCH3R International Exhibit is an annual international juried exhibition dedicated to socially and politically engaged art, created in memory of artist and graphic designer Fletcher H. Dyer, who passed away in 2009. Now in its 13th year, the exhibit provides a platform for artists worldwide to showcase work that investigates contemporary social and political issues across a wide range of media. The exhibit also funds the Fletcher Hancock Dyer Memorial Scholarship for art and design students, which was fully endowed as of 2017. Originally hosted at East Tennessee State University's Reece Museum, the exhibit has found a new home at The Fischman Gallery in downtown Johnson City, Tennessee following a censorship dispute in 2024.
