Through The Lens Collective

Through the Lens Collective is a collaborative educational and developmental photographic space created by South African visual artist and educator Michelle Loukidis. Through training and guidance, it aims to develop creativity, critical thinking and professional practice in photography. The collective helps visual artists and photographers refine their practice, expand their visual grammar and develop their narrative skills. It also values building sustainable structures that support contemporary photographic practice. Its courses are open to anyone passionate about photography who wants to use the camera as an expressive tool.
