The Tinicum Civic Association is a volunteer-run nonprofit that encourages artistic talent, supports community well-being and preserves the historic Stover Mill in Erwinna, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1946 to promote the general welfare of Tinicum Township residents, and it has owned and maintained the Mill since receiving it as a gift in 1957. The association operates the Stover Mill Gallery and produces the annual Tinicum Arts Festival, its primary fundraiser, with well over 150 community volunteers involved each year. The proceeds fund annual donations to nonprofit emergency service, educational and cultural organizations serving Tinicum Township and neighboring communities.
