The Traverse Theatre is an Edinburgh theatre that brings a festival spirit to the city throughout the year. It produces its own shows and presents a wide variety of new work from partner companies in Scotland, the UK and beyond.
Its programme includes drama, political and experimental work, real-life stories, gig theatre and concerts, and the lunchtime series A Play, A Pie and A Pint. It also offers opportunities for audiences of all ages and backgrounds to explore, create and develop. Donations help it support artists, create new work and engage the community with theatre.
