Trillium Arts is a residency center in the Blue Ridge Mountains where regional, national and international artists working in various disciplines find time and space to create new work. It sees creativity flourishing at the confluence of art, community and ecology.
It treats residencies as research-and-development labs for the arts, giving artists time, space and support to explore new ideas. It holds that supporting the creation of new work is a vital force in society, and that residencies are about advancing creativity rather than retreat.
