University of the National Education Commission in Kraków

The University of the National Education Commission in Kraków (UKEN) is a public university that marked the 80th anniversary of its founding with the start of the 2026/2027 academic year. It places particular weight on educating well-prepared teachers and on the university's responsibility for shaping informed citizens. The university works with schools, other universities, local governments and education-support institutions on projects such as the "Mistrzowskie praktyki" pedagogical placement model. It also takes part in funded education projects, including a training programme in critical technologies and biotechnology.
