The Utah Arts Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Salt Lake City that produces the largest multi-disciplinary outdoor arts event in Utah. Each June it transforms downtown Salt Lake City with visual arts, live music, dance, street theater, literary performances, film screenings, demonstrating arts, workshops and culinary arts. Its programs include an Artist Marketplace, the Fear No Film short film program, Urban Arts, Emerging Artists and a free Kids Art Yard.
A small full-time staff, program coordinators, a board of directors and hundreds of volunteers run the festival. It is working toward adding year-round competitions and events to support artists and engage the community beyond the festival weekend.
