The Verdancy Project

The Verdancy Project is a residency, event, and publishing space founded in 2020 by artist and writer Shannon to give creatives a place to connect with the land, themselves, and their creative practice. Its merit-based residency is open to any discipline, not just visual artists, welcoming musicians, writers, dancers, and scientists alongside visual artists. The organization also hosts workshops, events, and bespoke publishing, including its Verdant Publishing imprint. At its core, it functions as a living laboratory for exploring ideas, experimenting, and connecting with the natural world.
