Viafarini is a nonprofit organization for the promotion of artistic research, founded in Milan in 1991. Its work spans an artist archive, the Viafarini-in-residence shared studio program, exhibitions, education and coworking.
The residency program, running since 2008, gives artists a platform for production and research built on shared knowledge. It offers curatorial support, studio visits with art professionals and public Open Studio events. Viafarini also presents exhibitions, artist talks and workshops at its Milan venues.
