Water & Rock Nature

Water & Rock Nature is a nature-focused artist and writer residency located on the island of Thassos, Greece. The residency welcomes artists, musicians, sculptors, craftspeople, scientists, and writers for cross-disciplinary exchanges centered on creative expression in a natural setting. Programming includes guided art hikes, foraging excursions, and communal living immersed in the local Greek island community. It is led by a host with two decades of experience in the gallery, publishing, and animation industries, who is also a qualified nature guide. The organization emphasizes eco-conscious living and connecting artistic practice with the surrounding mountains and sea.
