Westport Regional Business League

The Westport Regional Business League works to guide development in Westport, one of Kansas City's most distinct historic districts. In 2018 and 2019 it teamed up with Historic Kansas City and the City of Kansas City, Missouri to create a long-term District Plan for Westport. In late 2022 it again led the effort, with the city, to create a Westport Overlay District that sets development standards for Westport Road and Pennsylvania Avenue. The overlay was enacted by City Council in the summer of 2023. Its Discover Westport site also promotes the district's dining, nightlife, shopping and transportation options to residents and visitors.
