A two-week artist residency at an eco-friendly organic farm in rural Ontario, Canada.
Wild Rose Farm is an artist residency program based on an eco-friendly organic farm in Dufferin County, Ontario, about 110 km northwest of Toronto near the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail. Each two-week retreat session hosts up to four artists working across disciplines, offering shared or private accommodation, vegetarian meals, and studio space in a historic 1839 log home along with a greenhouse, barn, and outdoor work areas. Residents are supported by an in-house creative coach and dramaturge, and may optionally take part in community events such as a shared dinner and a closing studio tour or performance. The farm emphasizes a restful, nature-connected setting for creative work with limited connectivity and a focus on found materials from the land.
