An artist retreat on an organic farm in rural Ontario.
Wild Rose Farm is an artist residency program based on an eco-friendly organic farm in Mulmur, Ontario, in the rural Headwaters Region of Dufferin County. It hosts monthly two-week retreats accommodating up to four artists at a time, centered around a historic 1839 log home along with a studio, greenhouse, and outdoor spaces in the wooded hills near the Niagara Escarpment. The residency welcomes visual and performing artists of all disciplines, including painters, photographers, musicians, and dancers, who work in solo, collaborative, or interactive settings. Its focus is on offering artists rest, inspiration, and creative time in direct contact with nature.
