Promotes recovery and community inclusion for people facing psychiatric disability or addiction.
The Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health (PRCH) promotes the recovery, self-determination, and community inclusion of people facing psychiatric disability and/or addiction, focusing on their strengths and the contributions they make to their communities. It works to transform behavioral health programs, agencies, and systems of care so they are culturally responsive and oriented toward recovery and social inclusion. The PRCH team is a diverse, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary group of practitioners, researchers, educators, and advocates. Its work is based in the community and beyond the walls of Yale University's broader campus.
