Requirements
Open to artists working in any medium, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, fiber arts and mixed media. Artworks will be in a public space; staff presence is not guaranteed in the exhibition space, and you must be okay with your artwork being left unattended. Artworks should align with the building themes of food, water, health and/or sustainability; artwork exploring the intersection of science and art will also be considered. Artworks must be ready to be hung on a wall — framed artworks require security hardware, and if your artwork arrives without security hardware it will be added for you. If selected, works must be dropped off in person to CSU Spur in Denver; if prior arrangements are made, artwork may be shipped to and from CSU Spur. Upon arrival at CSU Spur, artwork must be ready to be displayed (unmounted works on paper will not be accepted). All works must be original and created within the past five years. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. Residents of the 80216-zip code are encouraged to apply. Submission limit: 1.
