“Political art — any political perspective, any style, any medium”
Politics and Art. The Big Idea. Your art. Your politics. Your power. We've been collecting powerful political art online these last few years. Now we're bringing the best work into our new gallery space. This is your chance to see your art displayed in a Gallery as well as online (fyi- if you have already submitted to this show in the last few years, whatever we chose for that online only show, will also take part in the juried In-Gallery part of this November show. No need to reapply).
This Is About Politics — it isn't a dirty word in art. It's essential. Art that challenges, questions, provokes, and inspires is some of the most important work being made today. We started Political Voice as an online exhibition to give artists a platform. Now we're moving to our new gallery space where we are now allowed to have this kind of show, and we're curating the strongest pieces from our online collection—PLUS accepting new submissions—for a major in-gallery exhibition this November. Your online submission could be selected for the gallery wall.
ANY political perspective. ANY style. ANY medium.
All mediums. All political viewpoints. All styles.
Entry $35 for up to 5 images.
If selected for an in-gallery exhibition but prefer online-only participation, you can opt out to avoid wall rent and shipping fees — this switch entails no additional costs.
If selected artwork sells during the exhibition, Las Laguna Art Gallery represents the sale with a 65% (payment to Artist) / 35% (commission to Las Laguna Art Gallery) split. The Artist retains ownership and copyright of the artwork until sold, and receives sale proceeds within 31 days of sale.
No stipend or fee is offered by the program; accepted work may sell through the gallery on a 65/35 artist/gallery commission split, and a wall fee applies if a piece is selected for the in-gallery exhibition.
Compensation details
Artists retain ownership and copyright of their work until sold. On a sale, the gallery pays the artist 65% of the sale price and retains a 35% commission, with proceeds paid within 31 days of sale. Artists set their own retail price, inclusive of the gallery commission. If a piece is selected for the in-gallery exhibition, a wall fee applies based on size ($35 up to 12", $45 up to 20", $50 up to 30", $70 up to 40", larger by individual discussion); artists may opt for online-only participation instead to avoid the wall fee and shipping costs.
4 items to prepare.
Requirements
Submit 1-5 pieces of artwork per entry (JPG only, max 50MB per image); maximum 15 entries per artist. The page states an entry fee of $35 for up to 5 images under 'Submission Guidelines', but also states elsewhere twice that there is 'No Online Fee' for the online exhibition, with a wall fee applying only if selected for the in-gallery show, tiered by artwork size (figures given inconsistently as $35/$45/$50/$70 in one section and $25/$35/$40/$60 in another, for sizes up to 12", 20", 30" and 40"; larger pieces are priced individually). Artists selected for the gallery but preferring online-only participation may opt out of the wall fee and shipping at no cost.

Program begins
Nov 5, 2026Through Nov 30, 2026
Submissions move through three phases. In the ongoing online exhibition phase, artists submit one to three pieces of artwork, at least one of which is selected for the online gallery at laslagunaartgallery.com. In the in-gallery curation phase, the gallery reviews all online submissions from recent years together with any new submissions received by the October 24 deadline, and selects the strongest pieces for the new physical gallery space. The program concludes with a November opening reception and physical exhibition of the selected work.
