“Still life”
Gallery 40 is looking for artists to submit work for an upcoming exhibition exploring the timeless genre of still life. This exhibition seeks to celebrate the beauty, symbolism, and storytelling found in everyday objects. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly—traditional or contemporary approaches are welcome. Subjects may include food, flowers, domestic objects, personal items, or arranged compositions that capture form, light, texture, and meaning. Limited to 2-dimensional artwork. Awards: (1) $150 Juror's Best in Show. Gallery retains 35% commission on all sales.

Framing requirements
Canvases must be framed or museum/gallery wrapped with finished edges. Works on paper and smearable mediums (charcoal, pastels) must be protected under glass or plexiglass. Work must be wired and ready to hang; sawtooth or velcro hangers may disqualify work.
Requirements
1–3 pieces of 2-dimensional artwork. Accepted media: painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, collage. Maximum framed width 36 inches, maximum height 48 inches. Files must be JPG or PNG, max 50MB per image. Work must be original (no reproduction prints), for sale, professionally presented and wired/ready to hang. Canvases must be framed or museum/gallery wrapped with finished edges. Works on paper and smearable mediums (charcoal, pastels) must be protected under glass or plexiglass. Work must not have been previously exhibited at Gallery 40. Artists must be 18+ living in the United States.
