ArtMix is currently accepting proposals for your services in ceramic education for our Enroute ArtMix Studio Fellowship open studio program. Enroute is a full-day, inclusive open studio program designed specifically for artists with disabilities. This program's purpose is to create a self-directed, choice-based environment where artists with disabilities can work independently, develop their unique creative voice, and engage meaningfully with the broader community. This pilot provides emerging and professional artists with disabilities the opportunity to grow creatively, develop their portfolios, and pursue self-directed careers in the arts. The Teaching Artist Assistant in Enroute works collaboratively with the Teaching Artist to prep materials for class, assist with facilitating instruction, aid students, and clean materials and the studio after class.
ArtMix Teaching Assistants are paid $25/hour during teaching hours. Additional prep time outside of teaching hours are compensated at $15/hr.
