One-Week Printmaking Residency

An immersive exploration into plate-making and printing techniques. This residency offers participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of intaglio printmaking through hands-on experimentation, individual guidance, and focused studio time. The week is dedicated to learning a variety of printmaking techniques, with each day introducing a new process. Participants will engage with real examples of plates and prints to better understand each method. Daily demonstrations begin at 9:30 AM, followed by practical plate-making sessions. After a lunch break from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, the studio remains active until 5:30 PM for continued work and exploration. This residency is ideal for artists seeking a structured yet open environment to expand their printmaking practice. Curiosity is the most important. Participants are encouraged to bring drawings, sketchbooks, or any visual material that inspires them.
