Requirements
Apply through the online application form on CaFÉ with 1-2 images (JPG only, 1MB-3MB, minimum 1,200px on the longest side). Maximum 2 works per artist. All works must have been created within the last two years and be made of a minimum of 90% clay.
Wall pieces, pedestal work, and floor work are all welcome; hanging work must be hanging-ready with a maximum weight of 20lbs, with wire, keyhole brackets or D-rings installed prior to delivery (saw tooth hangers are not accepted). Maximum dimensions for pedestal work: 36" x 36". Non-refundable $40 entry fee per application.
All ceramic artists 18 years of age or older residing in California are eligible to apply. All artwork must be original and completed within the last two years and be made of a minimum of 90% clay. Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at the Ceramic Art Center of Marin or Art Works Downtown. All wall-hung artwork must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware, including a wire installed on the back prior to delivery; D-rings are acceptable, saw tooth hangers are not compatible. The Artist is responsible for all shipping costs to and from the Gallery. A prepaid return shipping label from FedEx or UPS must be included at the time of delivery. Artists shipping via USPS are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping at the close of the exhibition if their artwork does not sell. Maximum 2 works per artist; submission limit 1 application.
