SPECTACULAR! SPECTACULAR! is an open call for original 2D and 3D art for an exhibition hosted by PARC - Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex Art Gallery.
It's the most wonderful time of the year and we're ready to celebrate!
SPECTACULAR! SPECTACULAR! is an invitation to bring out the bold, joyful, colorful, sparkly, playful, unexpected, and downright fabulous.
We're looking for artwork that makes people smile, surprises them, catches their eye, or simply makes them want to stop and look a little longer. Think color, sparkle, celebration, winter, lights, parties, nostalgia, humor, joy, glamour, wonder, or a little bit of over-the-top fabulousness. Your interpretation can be subtle or exuberant, sophisticated or silly, familiar or completely unexpected.
If it feels festive, joyful, fabulous, magical, or just plain spectacular, we want to see it!
Submitted artwork will be reviewed and curated for inclusion by Élevé Art Gallery. For more information, please visit the Artist Information section on the PARC Art Gallery website.
PARC Art Gallery is directed and curated by Élevé Art Gallery. Except for holiday hours, the PARC Art Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week from 10 am to 8 pm.
Participation is open to all artists ages 18+ who live or work in Michigan. Artists outside of Michigan may be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided can be dropped off/picked up in person (*if shipping work is the only option, all associated costs must be paid by the artist). All artwork must be original and in its original form. Unless it is a fine art photograph, original digital illustration, etching or a relief print, no prints will be allowed. No AI art of any kind will be accepted. Works must have been independently completed (without instruction).
PARC Art Gallery supports all expressions and mediums of art. Because our facility serves all ages, toddlers to adults, PARC Art Gallery has the discretion to decline submissions so that it can ensure a safe, family-friendly venue.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK: Artwork must be an original, artist-created work rather than a reproduction of an existing artwork. Original works may include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media and original digital illustration.
DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION: Original digital illustrations are permitted when the digital file itself is the artist's original creative work. Because digital illustrations are typically produced and exhibited as physical prints, these may be professionally printed and presented as finished artwork. Generative AI artwork of any kind is not permitted.
REPRODUCTIONS / PRINTS: Giclée prints, fine-art prints, posters, or other reproductions of an existing painting, drawing, photograph or other artwork are not considered original artwork and are not eligible for exhibition. If prints of an original work exhibited are available for sale, that availability may be notated on the label.
all dates and times subject to change
All sales will be handled by Élevé Art Gallery. Élevé Art Gallery's commission for sales is 50%.
If a work sells, the buyer may not take the piece until the show is over. On a case-by-case basis, a buyer may be able to take a purchased piece prior to the end of an exhibition, if the artist is able to replace the sold work with another piece, as determined and coordinated by Élevé Art Gallery.
PARC will provide title cards for your art, which will include all your artworks information. All artists must provide the following information for each piece: Artist's Name, Artwork Title, Medium, Dimensions (width x height x depth) and Price. All prices submitted should be the sale price with the 50/50 commission split in mind.
No stipend or fee is offered; artists sell their work on a 50/50 commission split with Élevé Art Gallery.
