Festival · Lincoln, NE, United States · 1 program
You are invited to participate in the sixth annual Holy Trinity Arts Festival as we celebrate Spring and the Arts on Saturday, May 1, 2027. The Festival continues to grow, adding more artists and larger attendance every year. This event incorporates visual artists, performing artists, and floral arts design, as well as food vendors and a beer garden, to create a true Festival atmosphere!
OUR GOAL: "Come and See". Bringing people together through the artists, the performers, the flowers, and Children's Art—all of which celebrate Spring and the Arts.
THE PREMIER EVENT: The Holy Trinity Arts Festival is the first art show of the season for Lincoln, and as Spring arrives, people are truly ready to "get out and enjoy". The combination of our early timing, ample booth-side parking, continuous performances throughout the day and stunning floral displays all contribute to draw several thousand visitors to the artists' booths.
This year will be highlighting young artists with a student art contest. We have invited local high schools and students (up to fifty) to participate in an art competition. This ties into a theme of this year of "then and now" and also provides an opportunity to "pair" a young emerging artist up with a seasoned artist, while providing the young artists a chance to be emersed in the local art community.
CHILDREN'S ART TENT: The Children's Art Tent saw huge participation last year, with activities including mural fence painting, Squeegee Art, and quilt making with the International Quilt Museum (located here in Lincoln). Each year, new activities are incorporated for the kids--something exciting awaits this year as well!
