“Street Photography”
Collect Art invites photographers to submit their work for a special edition of our magazine and accompanying online exhibition with a theme of 'Street Photography'. The street is an ever-changing stage where ordinary moments become extraordinary stories. Every city, neighbourhood, corner, and passing encounter holds its own rhythm, revealing fragments of everyday life, human relationships, movement, solitude, coincidence, and unexpected beauty. For this edition, we invite photographers to capture the spontaneous, authentic, and unpredictable moments of life in public spaces. We are interested in images that go beyond simple documentation and offer a personal perspective on the world around us. Street photography can reveal character through a gesture, tell a story through a fleeting encounter, or transform an ordinary scene through light, composition, timing, and atmosphere. We welcome photographic approaches that explore: Everyday life and candid moments, People and human interaction, Urban environments and city life, Architecture and the relationship between people and space, Light, shadow, and reflections, Movement and stillness, Unexpected encounters and coincidences, Social and cultural narratives, Solitude and connection, Urban landscapes, Humor, irony, and spontaneity, Patterns, geometry, and visual rhythm, The unseen or overlooked details of everyday life. We are particularly interested in photographs that demonstrate a distinctive artistic vision, strong visual language, and an ability to transform everyday reality into compelling imagery. Your work may be documentary, conceptual, poetic, atmospheric, experimental, or abstract in approach. There is no single definition of street photography—we encourage photographers to interpret the genre through their own perspective and creative language. Selected photographers will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines. This feature will encompass a biography, artist statement, interview, website link, and 2-10 featured artworks. Moreover, all published photographers will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, will be provided a link to order the printed version of the magazine. Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional photographers for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'
