Solo and Small Group Exhibits

The Delaplaine Art Center, located in historic downtown Frederick, invites artists to submit proposals for solo or group exhibitions for one of our five galleries. Applications are reviewed by our Exhibition Selection Panel, comprised of artists, curators and arts professionals. All media are encouraged. Artworks submitted within the proposal should be original of the artist(s). No commercially made prints, giclees, or reproductions of an original work of art will be considered for exhibition. We are currently scheduling exhibitions two years in advance. Proposals are reviewed every other month according to the following schedule: Received Jan 15–Mar 14: notified by April 8; Received Mar 15–May 14: notified by June 8; Received May 15–July 14: notified by August 8; Received July 15–Sept 14: notified by October 8; Received Sept 15–Nov 14: notified by December 8; Received Nov 15–Jan 14: notified by February 8.
