Propeller Art Gallery's annual guest-curated exhibition for works on paper, celebrating the medium's diverse and often unsung creative potential. Curated by Nancy Jacobi. Artists are encouraged to thoughtfully select their paper to enhance and highlight their artwork—considering how the paper's distinctive colour or texture can make a line drawing or papercut stand out boldly. Works may involve layering other media or paper onto an initial drawing, painting, cutting, dyeing, stitching, or collage to build complexity. Submissions may also feature paper transformed into three-dimensional forms, such as sculptures, folded books, lights, mobiles, window hangings, or scrolls. The jury will be looking for an ingenious use of paper as an artwork. Any type of paper is eligible; include the name(s) of paper used in materials list. No size restriction. The paper can be mounted on a support if desired.
