Welcome to the Sunset Hills Makers Market - A Juried Art Fair! This year marks the seventh edition of the show.
The Sunset Hills Makers Market has grown into a successful and highly anticipated annual event in Sunset Hills Mo. After a successful return to spring last year, the Makers Market is officially here to stay as a spring event! Last year also introduced a new layout throughout Watson Trail Park that was loved by artists and attendees alike and will return again this year.
The Makers Market is a one-day outdoor juried fine art and contemporary craft show held in Sunset Hills, Missouri, in the popular Watson Trail Park. Each year, the Market brings together a carefully selected group of talented artists and makers offering original, high-quality work in a wide variety of mediums. In addition to the juried artists, the event features live music throughout the day, food and drinks, specialty vendors, demonstrations, and activities for families.
We are seeking a diverse group of artisans, crafters, and makers working across all mediums and price points. The event will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2027, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. In addition to exhibitors showcasing their work, the market will feature an expanded selection of perishables, live music, food, drinks, and a family corner with demonstrations. By inviting a mix of seasoned and emerging artists, we are committed to...
Welcome!
This is a juried show, and a select group of community members will judge the applications. Please note that we are actively seeking a diverse range of mediums and price points, which will play an integral role in the selection process. We encourage exhibitors from various categories, including clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood, paper, literary, music, and more. The only exclusion pertains to edible items, as these will be featured in the perishable market.

Thank you for expressing your interest in participating in the Sunset Hills Makers Market. To ensure the success of our show, we have established specific rules and regulations that all participants must observe:
This is a family event, and we expect everyone to be kind, respectful, and, most importantly, to HAVE FUN!
Exhibit Setup: Exhibitors will be situated on the tennis courts of Watson Trail Park. Spaces will be pre-assigned and non-transferable. Setup will start Friday afternoon after 3:00pm and at 6:00 am on Saturday morning. Booth/participation spaces are available in 10X10 dimensions, and double spaces can be added to your cart at checkout.
Fees:
Once accepted, you can pay your booth fee and communicate any preferences, including potential physical limitations. While the committee cannot guarantee all requests will be accommodated, they will do their best to meet your needs.
re: Saturday the day of the show: There is a parking lot adjacent, and you may park there while unloading. After unloading, and before setting up, your car needs to be moved. You will park at the community center, and a shuttle will be available to bring you back to your booth space. Parking lots within the park are reserved for patrons.
All vendors are solely responsible for loading and unloading their merchandise and displays. Minimal dollies will be available for use, and vendors are encouraged to bring their own equipment for a smooth and safe setup and takedown.
A limited number of electric spaces and tents are available for rent for an additional fee. These are on a first-come, first-served basis and can be added to your cart at checkout.
Additional Fees:
Note that tents/canopies cannot be staked into the blacktop. A check system will ensure weights are used to secure all tents/canopies. If weights are not used, the tent will not be permitted. Weights are available for rent (set of four for fifteen dollars) at registration and up to the day of the show. A recommended weight is 50 lbs, and tents MUST be manufactured of flame-retardant materials.
There can be no displays with exposed sharp edges used without a proper barrier onto the ground. Vendors may be held liable if appropriate materials are not used to protect the parking lot.
The show concludes at 5:00 pm, and vendors should not pack up their booths before that time. Early packing will result in not being invited back. Shuttles will be available to take vendors to pick up their cars.
Application fees are 100% non-refundable. In the event of an emergency, each situation will be handled individually. Daryl, Nora, and the Director of Parks and Recreation, Gerald Brown, will carefully assess and discuss each case, specifically addressing the booth/participation fee for potential refunds on a case-by-case basis.
Should Sunset Hills need to cancel the show for any reason, refunds will be offered for the booth/participation fee of $75 only, the application fee will not be refunded.
