Artist statement
I am a post-90s contemporary artist with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Arts from Malaysia. My creations focus on the inner emotions of modern urban youth, using acrylic on canvas as my primary medium. Different from intense and avant-garde contemporary expressions, my artistic style is defined by bright colors, soft textures, warm atmosphere, and dreamy visuals. I dedicate my work to healing aesthetics, transforming daily tenderness and quiet emotions into pure, luminous and gentle pictures. Through a balanced combination of figurative elements and abstract atmosphere, I build a soft, cozy and surreal artistic world. My art aims to relieve modern anxiety and loneliness, delivering calm warmth and positive emotional energy to the audience. Blending international artistic vision with personal life experience, I adhere to accessible, heartfelt and warm contemporary creation. In future practice, I will continue to develop my original IP system and healing pop art, insisting on bright, dreamy and warm visual language to interpret the gentle vitality of contemporary youth art.
