Addis Ababa University (AAU) is Ethiopia's premier flagship research university. It provides an educational experience that prepares students for graduation, employability and job creation, and it leads in developing transdisciplinary solutions to social, economic, political and environmental challenges. AAU partners with industry and runs research projects, and its Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital is the largest referral hospital in Ethiopia. The university also operates libraries, museums and student services across its campuses.
