Kultur im Bunker

Kultdiak Stuttgart e.V. is a non-profit association founded in 2018 that operates the KUltur im BUnker cultural center. The association brought together earlier work by musician Klaus-Peter Graßnick, who began developing the bunker cultural center idea in 2016. The bunker under Diakonissenplatz was built in 1941 and has a floor area of 3,158 m². The cultural center in the former medical section was officially opened on July 17, 2022. The association's stated goal is to make the whole bunker a permanent cultural center, event and rehearsal space, memorial site, and place for cultural diversity in the city. The association's registered address is Hintere Straße 20, 71686 Remseck am Neckar. Its main venue is at Rosenbergstraße 23, 70176 Stuttgart.
