Self-directed artist residency in the medieval village of Latera, Italy.
La Casa Etruria is a self-directed, self-catered artist residency set in the medieval village of Latera, Italy, in the Tuscia Viterbese area north of Rome near the Tuscan border. It hosts painters, writers, photographers, designers, illustrators, musicians and researchers for stays of two to four weeks. The residency occupies a two-floor house with an in-house workspace, accommodating one artist, a couple, or two artist-friends at a time. It favors independent, self-reliant applicants and occasionally arranges exhibitions of residents' work in local venues such as the Museo della Terra Latera.
