The North Georgia Arts Guild is a growing collective of more than 100 members who celebrate the art and artists of their communities. Founded in 1994, it is based in Rabun County, a region that attracts artists, makers and craftsmen from across the country. Its mission is to bring together artists and people interested in the arts to share knowledge, expertise and friendship, to promote the arts and artists of the region and the Guild, and to give artists opportunities to exhibit and sell their work. The Guild holds monthly meetings with guest speakers, demonstrations and a Members Show & Tell program. It also supports members through scholarships and the Laurel Magazine, and presents the Painted Fern exhibition and the Art on Main art festival in Clayton, Georgia.
