Oglebay Institute

Oglebay Institute is a nonprofit cultural organization founded in 1930 in Wheeling, West Virginia, created to bring cultural, educational, environmental and recreational programming to the Upper Ohio Valley. It operates multiple facilities, including the Stifel Fine Arts Center, the Oglebay Institute Glass Museum, and the Towngate Theatre. Its programming spans visual arts classes and workshops, an artist-in-residence program, a community theater company (Parcel Players), and museum exhibitions on regional glass, pewter and ceramics history.
