About Point Pleasant Publishing
Point Pleasant Publishing is an international contemporary art publisher founded in 2014 in Jersey City, New Jersey, based in the New Jersey Shore and greater New York metro area. The organization specializes in writing critical essays about conceptual and experimental artists through its Artist Feature Catalogue — a collection of scholarly essays published in hardcover art book format and presented digitally. Point Pleasant also publishes the Point Pleasant Journal, a philosophical discourse publication, and Shoreline Voice, a monthly artist spotlight. The organization is committed to 100% human-created writing and advancing contemporary art discourse beyond design principles, with a curatorial focus on socially relevant, interdisciplinary, and avant-garde practices.
