“Art as Civic Voice — civic participation, social dialogue, democratic processes, political activism, collective memory”
Open, non-juried exhibition celebrating the United States Semiquincentennial. Artists of all mediums are invited to explore art as civic participation, social dialogue, and democratic reflection. Themes include Philadelphia's history and evolving identity, the role of art in governance and public discourse, visual culture and political activism, art as a tool for social change, and the construction of collective memory. Works may be 2D or 3D; all must be framed and wired to hang with eyehooks, no larger than 40" in any dimension, and no heavier than 30 lbs. All accepted work must be offered for sale; PSC takes a 25% commission. AI-generated works are not eligible.

Compensation details
PSC Members: $5 for first piece, $10 for each additional work. Non-members: $15 for first piece, $10 for each additional work. Maximum 2 pieces per entry. Payment via credit card or PayPal.

Framing requirements
All works must be framed and wired to hang. All work, including 3D, must arrive at the PSC ready to be hung, securely wired with eyehooks. Large freestanding sculpture cannot be accommodated.
Requirements
Maximum 2 works per artist. Works must be 2D or 3D, framed and wired to hang with eyehooks (no large freestanding sculpture). Max 40" in any dimension including frame; max 30 lbs. Must be original, not previously shown at the PSC, and offered for sale. No AI-generated work. Submit images in JPG, GIF, or PNG format; image size must be more than 50 KB and less than 10 MB. All works must be entered online at once before checking out.
Works must explore the theme of Art as Civic Voice and may be 2D or 3D in any medium. Works created using AI are not eligible. Works must be original and not previously shown at the PSC. Ineligible: works with discriminatory language or imagery, works promoting hostility toward specific communities, explicit depictions of violence, works promoting a specific religious doctrine.
