“Contemporary international fiber and textile art: installations, sculpture, vessels, wall/floor works, and wearable art”
Excellence In Fibers XII will showcase the best of current international fiber and textiles to a growing global fiber art community. Artists are encouraged to push the boundaries in the areas of installations, sculpture, vessels, wall/floor works, and wearable art. The exhibition will be juried by the Fiber Art Now creative team and will be featured in the winter 2027 issue of Fiber Art Now, to be released in early January 2027.
Selected artwork will be eligible for the on-site exhibition at Grants Pass Museum of Art in Grants Pass, Oregon, May 5 through July 28, 2028. Submitted artwork must be a finished, physical piece of fiber art. How you arrived at your design — whether through sketching, software, photography, AI tools, or any combination — is your process, and your process is your own.
What is not eligible: AI-generated images, renderings, or digital compositions submitted in place of a physical work. Artists are encouraged to disclose the tools used in their artist statements. We jury the work based on its construction, vision, and originality. There are no dimension restrictions for the print exhibition, but Grants Pass Museum of Art may consider dimensions when choosing artwork for the on-site exhibition.
