“Her Art, Her Voice — a celebration of the vitality and uniqueness of women artists of New Mexico”
Her Art, Her Voice is a celebration of the vitality and uniqueness of women artists of New Mexico. In March of 2027 the New Mexico State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMC of NMWA) will hold the second biennial juried exhibition, open to all NMC of NMWA Artist Registry Members. Co-hosting the event will be the internationally renowned galleries, Turner Carroll Gallery and GF Contemporary Gallery on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, NM.
Works will be sold during the exhibition by the galleries. All mediums and subject matters will be considered. No limits on size. No limits on price. Must be created after January 2024.
The jury's only criteria for the artworks is excellence. Artists selected by the jury for the exhibition should have at least two additional works of art in a similar nature to the artwork selected. This innovative exhibition format is artist-centric and focused on drawing as much attention as possible to the exhibited artist's works. Thus, as artworks sell, each work will be replaced by a comparable work by the same artist up to two additional works of art.
The exhibition location of the jury's selected works will be determined by the galleries on a lottery basis, or if necessary, the practicality of size or specific display requirements that would prohibit the work to be shown to its best advantage.
$1000 Best of Show, $700 Award of Excellence, $400 Award of Merit, and $200 each for two Honorable Mention Awards
Compensation details

Sales proceeds will be split as follows: 50% of net sales proceeds will be paid to the artist; 10% of the net sales proceeds will be donated to NMC of NMWA; 40% will be retained by Turner Carroll Gallery or GF Contemporary.
