Festival · Sebastian, FL, United States · 1 program
We are excited to celebrate the 25th annual Sebastian Riverfront Fine Art and Music Festival. The event will be held along the beautiful Sebastian Riverfront. The festival is one of the most anticipated and well attended community events in Sebastian, and is held during the area's busy winter season. The hometown event draws crowds from the neighboring towns of Vero Beach, Melbourne and beyond. The show dates are January 16th and 17th from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. The festival is free and open to the public and offers live music, a variety of food booths and beer and wine. There is plenty of artist parking onsite, including designated space for RVs.
Sebastian Riverfront Fine Art and Music Festival is a non-profit 501c3 organization run by a volunteer board of directors. The goal of SRFAMF is promoting the arts and cultural enhancement within the community, while also encouraging children's interest in the creative arts. Profits collected from booth fees and sponsorships are put back into art projects within the community and the arts departments in the local schools.

Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of their artwork and booth. SRFAMF will not be responsible for damage to artwork or set-up for any reason. Booth and display must remain intact during all hours of the show. In the event of inclement weather, the director will call for an early tear down to protect artwork, artists and the general public.
Crafts such as soaps, candles, scented oils, and edibles will not be juried into our show. All artwork must be original art produced by the exhibiting artist. Anything made from commercial molds or work made in a production studio is not allowed. Work purchased for the purpose of resale (buy/sell) is not permitted.
Awards are as follows and are not category specific
Sales tax in Indian River County is 7%. Artists are responsible for collecting sales tax and remitting it to the Florida Department of Revenue.
4 images of artwork and 1 booth shot are required. Artists without a booth shot will not be juried. The mandatory booth image will be used to assess the actual sizes of the artwork and the overall presentation of the booth. The artists with the highest jury scores in each category will be selected to participate in the show. A waitlist in each category will be established based on jury scores. Waitlisted artists will be called when space becomes available and may be invited up to the day before the show as last minute cancellations do occur. The jury will consist of art professionals and may include art festival artists, art instructors, gallery owners, and museum curators. The jurors will review applications separately from their own location. The jury will not see artist's names during the selection process.
The registered artist must be present in the booth for the duration of the show. No booth sharing is permitted. No representatives may attend in the place of the artist.
Artists may be required to show ID at check in or during the show.
All artwork must be original art produced by the artist. Displayed art and the booth must be consistent with the images submitted in the application. Artwork must be properly displayed/presented. No wall art may be placed on the ground. Please make every effort to make your booth look like a gallery rather than a yard sale. Art that is not consistent with jury images will be removed.
Buy/sell vendors are strictly prohibited. Work made from commercial molds, kits or work from production studios is not permitted. T shirts and commercial clothing that has been purchased and embellished, or printed with artwork is not permitted. Artists will be asked to remove ineligible work or be expelled from the show. If an artist is expelled from the show, there will be no refund of the booth fee.
Artists may only exhibit artwork in the category/medium in which they were accepted. Only artists accepted in the jewelry category may exhibit or sell jewelry. All jewelry on display, regardless of materials, must be juried in the jewelry category.
In the painting, pastel, printmaking, and drawing categories, we expect most work hung on booth walls to be originals. Reproductions are allowed, however, all reproductions must be clearly labeled as such.
Displaying awards and ribbons from other shows is not allowed.
Tents must be white, 10x10, and well secured with extra weight. No artwork, chairs or displays should extend past the front edge of the booth. Electricity is not available.
Vehicles must be removed from the show area no later than 9:00am on show days. Booths and vehicles must be cleared from the street on Sunday by 6:30pm.
No-shows or exhibitors who leave early without authorization will not be invited back to future shows.
Artist check in will begin January 15, 2027 at noon and run until 5:00pm. The streets will be closed to accommodate exhibitors and set-up will begin at noon on Friday and will resume on Saturday morning. There are approximately 99 single booth spaces and 3 double booths. The single booth fee is $200.00. Doubles are $400.00. Single booth spaces are 10' x 10' with 4 feet in between each booth. Double booth spaces are 10x20 with 4 feet between the adjacent booths. Artists must have a 10x10 white tent.
Application fees are non-refundable. Once the invitation has been accepted, and the booth payment has been made, the artist has committed to participation in the Sebastian Riverfront Fine Art and Music Festival. In the event a registered artist is unable to participate, a request for a refund may be made up until December 7, 2026. The artist will be refunded the booth fee minus processing fees of $25.00. Hardship refunds after December 7th will be left up to the discretion of the show director. This is a rain or shine festival. There will be no refunds for inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. There is no rain date. A no-call, no-show exhibitor will be ineligible for future shows.
