Theme
For this exhibition artists are asked to share a dream/creative spark that helps them envision the world ahead for themselves and others, as they would like it.
Juror
Sabrina Nelson has been a professional artist for more than 35 years and an educator for nearly as long. As a studio art teacher at the Detroit Institute of Arts, she lectures and performs artist demonstrations. She is also on staff at the College for Creative Studies, where she recruits students to pursue art degrees in Detroit. In 2021 she was named a Kresge Artist Fellow in 2021.
Please indicate width by height in inches for 2D entries and width by height by depth in inches for 3D pieces. This is very important information for the exhibition committee when they are planning how to install the show.
Also for the safety of your piece, please have your 2D piece framed and ready to hang. Use acrylic rather than glass. If your piece requires special attention for display, please indicate that so the committee can plan ahead.
