About This Opportunity
“Experimental and alternative contemporary visual art, conceptual and avant-garde practices”
International open call for experimental and alternative visual artists to be featured in Point Pleasant Publishing's Artist Feature Catalogue — a linen wrap hardcover art book with scholarly curatorial review essays. Selected artists receive a six-page spread with a detailed curatorial essay and one work on permanent display in Point Pleasant Publishing's online Saatchi Art gallery. Accepted disciplines include photography, performance, video, film, installation, assemblage, collage, fiber/textiles, printmaking, light design, jewelry, fashion/costume design, and analogue digital (no AI). Artists are selected based on accomplishments, originality, conceptual impact, overall portfolio cohesiveness, and aesthetic qualities. The publication also includes Point Pleasant Journal and Shoreline Voice. No application fee. No selection fee. Artists retain copyright; by applying, permission is granted for use of images in publications and promotions without royalty fees.
