He began his musical journey in 2006 as a member of the Lesedi La Kgotso Clap & Tap Choir, where his love for gospel music was nurtured. In 2008, he became part of ST Moketeng YMG Choir, a group that played a pivotal role in his development. In 2021, Thamsanqa was diagnosed with glaucoma, resulting in the loss of his sight. He is now a partially blind gospel artist, and his story stands as a powerful testimony of perseverance, faith, and purpose.
