What happens to applicants we didn't fund?
They stay in your applicant network. Artsume keeps a persistent record of every artist who applied, funded or not. They stay searchable and tagged, ready to re-engage as your funding capacity grows. Next round, their prior application history is already there.
How is this different from a CRM?
The upkeep is the difference. A CRM only knows what your team types into it. Artists maintain their own Artsume profiles, so applicant records stay current between rounds. Your program gets the relationship layer, and the artist gets a career identity they can use across programs.
How does blind review work in Artsume?
Turn on blind review for a program and every application is anonymized. Reviewers see the work and the proposal with names, affiliations and demographics hidden. It keeps evaluation merit-based and gives you documentation for funders and boards.
Can we create custom scoring rubrics?
Yes. Create custom evaluation criteria specific to your grant program. Define scoring categories, point values, and quality bands. Artsume calculates and aggregates every score for easy comparison.

How much does Artsume cost for grant programs?
Getting started is free: unlimited grant programs, submissions, and team members, plus your artist network and simple reviews. Artsume Pro for organizations ($500 a year) adds recommended artists, invitations to artists you find on Artsume, applicant fit, one promotion for each paid year, blind reviews and juries, and reports. We only charge a 10% platform fee when you collect application payments through Stripe, and that 10% is all-in: Artsume covers the card processing, with no monthly minimum and no per-payout charge.
Where do jury notes live between rounds?
In the program record. Scores and panel comments stay with the round, so a new jury reads what the last one wrote.
Can we see how the artists we funded have developed?
Yes. Awardees keep their own profile current, so the exhibitions and grants that follow appear on the record you hold.
