Does Artsume support blind review for juried student evaluations?
Yes. Blind review hides identifying information from faculty and guest jurors while they evaluate, so work is assessed on merit rather than name recognition. You control what's hidden: student name, location, contact details, links, institution, references. Program leads, owners and admins keep full visibility, so they can still administer the review. Juror scores are governed separately. Set review visibility to blind until decisions are released. No one sees another juror's scores while the panel is in flight.
What file formats can students submit through Artsume?
Students can submit high-resolution images (JPEG, PNG, TIFF), videos (MP4, MOV), PDFs, written artist statements, CVs, and structured form responses. Every submission arrives in a consistent, professional format, so there's nothing to chase down or decode.
How much does Artsume cost for educational institutions?
Getting started is free, educational institutions included: unlimited juried shows, student submissions, faculty and staff seats, alumni network access, and simple reviews. Artsume Pro for organizations ($500 a year) adds recommended artists, invitations to artists you find on Artsume, applicant fit, one promotion for each paid year, blind reviews and juries, and reports. We only charge a 10% platform fee when you collect application or entry payments through Stripe, and that 10% is all-in: Artsume covers the card processing, with no monthly minimum and no per-payout charge.
What happens to a student profile after graduation?
The student keeps it. Your department keeps the alumni record, and the student keeps the career identity built during the program.
Can we show current student work outside the department?
Yes. Each student has one public profile, so you can send a curator or hiring manager one link.
