Three City of Toronto galleries invite visual artists and collectives to submit applications for 2027 exhibition opportunities. Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery seeks visual arts organizations and collectives (minimum 4 artists) from across Canada, with 230 feet of wall space and 6 display cases for 3D works, hosting 10 shows annually. Assembly Hall Gallery seeks individual artists and collectives working in painting, photography, sculpture, mosaic, collage, and printmaking — 8 shows/year with 25,000+ annual visitors. Ascent Gallery focuses on early-career artists in an 82-foot wall space, prioritizing IBPOC, disabled persons, and 2SLGBTQI+ applicants living and working in Toronto. CARFAC exhibition fees paid per number of artworks; galleries take no commission on sales. In-kind support includes free gallery space, installation, takedown, reception assistance, label and didactic printing, and promotional opportunities through City channels.

Ascent Gallery: early-career individual artists and collectives; prioritizes IBPOC, disabled persons, and 2SLGBTQI+ artists living and working in Toronto. Deadlines differ: Etobicoke and Ascent close May 17, 2026; Assembly Hall closes June 15, 2026.
