What does 'verified credentials' mean on Artsume?

Do orgs HAVE to verify my entries?

No, attestation is voluntary on the org side. They see a queue of pending confirmations and respond when convenient. Unverified entries still display on your CV — just without the verified seal.

What happens if an org disputes my entry?

If an org marks an entry as disputed, it doesn't appear on your public CV. You'll get a notification and can update the entry or remove it.

Is verification free?

Yes, completely. Verification is free for both artists and arts organizations. Artsume is committed to making credential verification standard across the art world.

Can I list entries from orgs that don't use Artsume?

Yes. You can list any CV entry — only entries from orgs on Artsume can be verified, but unverified entries still appear on your CV. As more orgs adopt Artsume, more of your CV becomes verifiable over time.
