“Large format printmaking”
An art residency provides the technical conditions, time, and space to develop ideas and try new approaches. It is a moment that promotes connection between artists from different backgrounds and consequently the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
**Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency** aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others.

Note
Artists must be over 21 years old at the time of their arrival. Open to artists based anywhere in the world. Pets are not allowed. Artists must be able to cover the costs of the Residency fee, travel, materials and food.
Compensation & Benefits
Overview
No stipend provided (artist stipend is 0 EUR). No travel or material stipends. Artists must cover residency fee, travel, materials, and food. Residency fee starts at 600 EUR for 2 weeks.

€600 - €1,800
Detailed Breakdown
Residency Fee (covers accommodation in shared house, studio access Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:30pm, access to workshops and equipment, project discussion). Fee structure: 2 weeks €600, 3 weeks €900, 4 weeks €1200, 5 weeks €1500, 6 weeks €1800. Studio Support (training or assistance) is €15 per hour. Materials and meals not included. Artists must cover costs of residency fee, travel, materials and food.

Private bedroom in a shared housing facility on campus. Spouses/partners allowed for full stay (non-collaborators).
