“Transforming everyday spaces into vibrant art experiences — exhibiting in non-traditional venues such as cafés, homes, shop windows, studios, libraries, rooftops, and digital venues”
VAA OpenSpaces is a worldwide, artist-led exhibition initiative by the Visual Artists Association that transforms everyday spaces into vibrant art experiences. From cafés, homes and shop windows to studios, libraries, rooftops and digital venues, OpenSpaces invites artists to redefine where and how art is seen.
Running from 2–28 November 2026, this global art trail connects thousands of visitors through a shared digital map, showcasing exhibitions across cities, towns and communities worldwide. Open to artists of all disciplines and career stages, OpenSpaces empowers you to choose your own venue, engage directly with audiences, and exhibit on your own terms.
Participants benefit from global visibility, promotion to the VAA's international network, practical venue support, PR and marketing tools, and access to workshops and mentorship.
