The Artist Residency Program at Clark Centre for the Arts welcomes professional artists to think, experiment, work and create in an artistic lakeside yet urban environment, culminating in a one-month exhibition of the artist-in-resident's work in Gallery 191. Clark Centre for the Arts is dedicated to engaging and supporting artists and encourages applications from members of equity-deserving communities. Two residencies will be offered to professional artists during regular operating hours, from mid January to mid December. Artists receive studio space during operating hours, a one-month exhibition in Gallery 191, use of the first-floor lobby for an opening reception, promotion through City of Toronto PR channels, and an honorarium to support the artist's commitment and potential materials/supplies expenses.
